Itinerary
Arrival in Tbilisi airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Tbilisi.
Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion in the capital city of Georgia. Founded by Vakhtang Gorgasali, the Georgian King of Kartli (Iberia) and made into a capital in the 6th century, Tbilisi is a significant industrial, social, and cultural center.
- Metekhi Church is erected on the cliff, overlooking the Mtkvari River. The colorful Darejani Palace is also situated on the cliff, like the nest of a swallow. The Sulfur Baths are located in Old Tbilisi, on the other side of the river, opposite Darejani Palace.
- Narikala fortress, established in the fourth century. Continue tour by visiting Shardeni street with its fashionable, cozy cafes and art galleries. Visit the famous Bridge of Peace. We will drive and pass Rustaveli Avenue, main street of the city, passing along the attractions, such as Tbilisi Opera and Ballet theatre, Rustaveli Theatre, and different art galleries and cafes. Transfer to the designated place.
Overnight at the hotel.
After breakfast, we will drive to Kakheti region, the eastern part of the country, which is considered a wine-making region. Besides wine, it has a diversity of flora, views of the Gombori mountains, and characteristic cuisine.
- Start the tour with Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino.
- Drive to Sighnaghi, an 18th-century royal town built on a steep hill overlooking Alazani Valley. Walking in the city, come across colorful houses with wooden balconies and catch a view of the snowy Caucasian mountains. Here, visit a local wine cellar and try different kinds of wines made by hand, fermented in Qvevri - a unique wine vessel.
Drive back to Tbilisi and overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today, we drive to Kazbegi, a mountain region of the country. On the way, we pass Ananuri Castle and Jinvali water reservoir of amazing beauty. Stop and see different local hand-made things (thick felt, embroidery, iconographic painting). A stunning drive from Gudauri along the Tergi River will bring us to Stepantsminda – the main town in the region. Visit Kazbegi surroundings. From the center, we drive through beautiful valleys and woodlands to visit Gergeti Trinity Church located at 2170m. You may observe one of the highest glaciers in the Caucasus – Mt Kazbegi (5047m). Drive back to Tbilisi.
Transfer to the designated place. Overnight at the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel and drive to visit Tbilisi. On the way, visit the house museum of Stalin in Gori. The museum complex includes the place Stalin was born and spent his childhood, his private carriage, and a wide collection of things from his private life.
Afterwards, head to Uplistsikhe cave town (1 millennium BC) situated on an ancient Silk Road, containing the earliest human settlements and urban centers in the Caucasus. Drive to Tbilisi.

According to the flight details, transfer to the airport. Farewell.
